Of course, the music remains the centerpiece of this album. Following their artistic and commercial breakthrough with the release of the live album At Fillmore East (1971), The Allman Brothers Band got to work on their third studio album. Many in the band were struggling, however, with heroin addictions, and checked into rehab to confront these problems. Shortly after leaving rehab, group leader and founder Duane Allman was killed in a motorcycle accident in the band's home of Macon, Georgia thus making it the final album to feature the guitarist. Eat a Peach was a mix of studio recordings-both with and without Duane Allman-and recordings from the band's famed 1971 Fillmore East performances. Eat a Peach was an immediate success and peaked at #4 on Billboard's Top 200 Pop Albums chart. The impeccable rhythm blended with masterful instrumental work, keeps fans coming back for more. Most noteworthy are the dueling lead guitars of Duane Allman and Dickey Betts, and the instrumental byplay between Duane and his brother Gregg on the keyboards. It collected a variety of performances from the mid-1970s line-up of the band. Songs from their popular 1973 Brothers and Sisters album were heavily featured, but each of their other studio albums was represented by a selection as well. Some of the 1973 performances, such as of "Southbound", are strong, and the energetic 1975 run-through of "Can't Lose What You Never Had" showed why it had enjoyed much of the progressive rock radio airplay off that year's Win, Lose or Draw. It has been remastered from original analog tapes by Keven Reeves to 192kHz 24-bit audio and then cut on copper plates using Abbey Road Mastering's Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) lathe. The original artwork has been faithfully reproduced. Idlewild South is the second studio album by The Allman Brothers Band. Produced by Tom Dowd, the album was released on September 23, 1970. Following the release of their 1969 debut, The Allman Brothers Band toured the United States extensively to promote the album, which had little commercial success. Their performances, however, did create positive word of mouth exposure that extended to more famous musicians, such as Eric Clapton, who invited group leader Duane Allman to contribute to his 1970 album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs. As a result of the band's relentless touring schedule, Idlewild South was recorded gradually over a period of five months in various cities, including New York, Miami, and Macon, Georgia, the band's home. Tom Dowd had previously been sought to record the group's debut but had been unavailable. The material presented on Idlewild South was written during this period and tested out on the road at shows. The album's title comes from the band's nickname for a rustic cabin the band rented out and used for rehearsals, as well as parties. Idlewild South contains two of the band's best-known songs, "Midnight Rider" (later a hit for various artists) and "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed", which became one of the band's famous concert numbers.

Tracklist:

Revival

Don't Keep Me Wonderin'

Midnight Rider

In Memory of Elizabeth Reed

Hoochie Coochie Man

Please Call Home

Leave My Blues at Home

UPC: 602547813237
Label: Mercury
Release Date: 7.22.16
Format: Vinyl

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0568/6929/0168/products/Allman-Brothers-Band-IDLEWILD-SOUTH-LP_YBTAx.jpg?v=1669317761
enlightened-rogues
Enlightened Rogues - The Allman Brothers Band (Vinyl) (180 Gram)

Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. The Allman Brothers Band had broken up in 1976 following internal turmoil, amplified by escalating drug use. The band members splintered into different acts - among those Great Southern, Sea Level, and the Gregg Allman Band. Guitarist Dickey Betts approached his bandmates in 1978 with the prospects of a reunion. After two former members declined to return, they added new members: guitarist Dan Toler and bassist David Goldflies. Living together in Sarasota, Florida, they rehearsed and wrote the material for their next album in fall 1978.

Tracklist:

Crazy Love

Can't Take It with You

Pegasus

Need Your Love So Bad

Blind Love

Try It One More Time

Just Ain't Easy

Sail Away

UPC: 602547813398
Label: Mercury
Release Date: 7.22.16
Format: Vinyl

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0568/6929/0168/products/Monostereo-Allman-Brothers-Band-Enlightened-Rogues-Vinyl-_wHTTD.jpg?v=1669313988
win-lose-or-draw
Win Lose Or Draw - The Allman Brothers Band (Vinyl) (180 Gram)

Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. The original artwork has been faithfully reproduced. Win, Lose or Draw is the fifth studio album by The Allman Brothers Band. Produced by Johnny Sandlin and the band themselves, the album was released in August 1975. The band had previously released their fourth record, Brothers and Sisters, in 1973 to critical and commercial success. The band toured the following year, attracting large crowds and earning substantial amounts of money, all while internal tension grew between the members. Vocalist Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts released solo albums which prompted speculation on the band's unity. When the band regrouped to work on Win, Lose or Draw, unresolved issues arose in rehearsals. The band was particularly critical of Allman's decision to move to Los Angeles, as well as his tabloid relationship with pop star Cher. With miscommunication and anger at an all-time high, the band pieced together the album over a period of several months, in stark contrast to their usual recording methods. Band members often could not be present in the studio at the same time.

Tracklist:

Can't Lose What You Never Had

Just Another Love Song

Nevertheless

Win Lose or Draw

Louisiana Lou and Three Card Monty John

High Falls

Sweet Mam

UPC: 602547813220
Label: Mercury
Release Date: 7.22.16
Format: Vinyl

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0568/6929/0168/products/Monostereo-Allman-Brothers-Band-Win-Lose-Or-Draw-Vinyl-_xJfh8.jpg?v=1621953416
brothers-of-the-road
Brothers Of The Road (Hol) - The Allman Brothers Band (Vinyl)

UPC: 8719262000063
Label: Imports
Release Date: 7.8.16
Format: Vinyl

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0568/6929/0168/products/Monostereo-Allman-Brothers-Band-Brothers-Of-The-Road-Vinyl-_wWsUc.jpg?v=1669323186
the-final-note
The Final Note - The Allman Brothers Band (Vinyl) (RSD Drops 2021)

Live Recording of Duane Allman’s last performance, from 10-17-71 at Painters Mill Music Fair in Owings Mill, MD
Additional unreleased bonus track, “Stormy Monday”, from Austin, TX, 1971.
Pressed on limited edition Salmon vinyl.

Statesboro Blues/Trouble No More/Don't Keep Me Wondering/Done Somebody Wrong/One Way Out/In Memory of Elizabeth Reed/Hot 'lanta/Whipping Post/Stormy Monday

UPC: 821229000233
Label: Allman Brothers Band
Release Date: 7.17.21
Format: Vinyl

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0568/6929/0168/products/Allman-Brothers-Band-The-Final-Note_MP9ZU.jpg?v=1669293246
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0568/6929/0168/products/Allman-Brothers-Band-Cream-Of-The-Crop-2003-Highlights-RDS-2022-Color-Vinyl-RSD-4232022_A6cpO.jpg?v=1669320292
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0568/6929/0168/products/syria-mosque-pittsburgh-pa-january-17-1971-rsd-42223_AezyD.jpg?v=1681447812
