After mixing the project in full, he slowed every track down roughly 40% directly on the tape machine and printed that as the final mix - a distinctive, hands-on process that gives the record it's warped, immersive character. Inspired by the energy, sounds, and lifestyle Donavon lives when he's off the road, the album trades touring's momentum for something slower and more rooted, with each song shaped as much by analog experimentation as by composition.
