The Crucifucks career has been anything but boring. Formed in Lansing, MI in 1982, around lyricist and mouthpiece, Doc Corbin Dart, whose anti-establishment politics and bent for provocative, deliberately offensive lyrical posturing made the Crucifucks something of an American analogue to England's legendary Crass, The Crucifucks also possessed an absurdist streak that linked them to the acerbic humor of Jello Biafra and the surreal social satire of Pere Ubu.
