PRE ORDER: Faites Vos Jeux (Debussy & Poulenc) - Paul Lewis (CD)

In this first album devoted to French music, Paul Lewis pays homage to two giants of the 20th century: Debussy and Poulenc. From the dizzy virtuosity of Debussy's L'Isle joyeuse to the tenderly affectionate yet ironic world of Children's Corner, and the witty, spirited miniatures of the Villageoises and Improvisations that sum up all the artistry of Poulenc, this program reveals the secret links of affinity between two composers who, though apparent opposites, are united by the same taste for color, freedom and song.
