PRE ORDER: Live With Orphan - Tom Rush (CD) (Digipak)

A 1974 live recording featuring Tom Rush with the band Orphan. It is top-tier folk-rock, including masterpieces by songwriters Rush admired; he makes the songs his own, interpreting them with a personal touch and a unique baritone voice-warm, expressive, and deeply evocative. The bright, ringing Telecaster sound of the brilliant Eric Lilljequist stands out. The set unfolds with gems by Lee Clayton, Guy Clark, David Wiffen, and Murray McLauchlan, to name a few. Nothing short of an essential album.
