PRE ORDER: Manual Breather - Necklace (Vinyl)

NECKLACE formed in Johannesburg, the citythat promised gold. What's left is the dirt ofthat excavation. To live there entails a loveaffair with what is broken and corrupted. It isthrough these contradictions that NECKLACEchannels their sound. SUICIDE, STOOGES,and VELVET UNDERGROUND appear to havemade their way down to Africa and into thatsound.Slovenly saw NECKLACE play at theTWENTY ONE CHILDREN house in Sowetolast year. On stage, between the band's fourmembers, there's a very compelling mix ofenergy, joy, rage, passion, and artisticrelease. They enjoyed every second of it -as did we - and the recordings we askedthem to send us are Manual Breather.
