PRE ORDER: Seven Weathers - Alasdair Roberts (CD)

A dimensional approach to Scottish traditional songs from a new duo with the hypnotic powers of wizened old hands; seven blossoms of transformative sonic magic with an ideal of pluralism and musical and poetic freedom. Fredrik Rasten's vocals, guitars and keyboards reach with alternative and additive tonalities into the unknown of previous full-prog Alasdair Roberts idylls Spoils, What News, A Wonder Working Stone and 2020's The Old Fabled River, where these two first met and played. RIYL: Shirley Collins/Roy Harper/Talk Talk
