PRE ORDER: Untitled - Albini Rough Mixes [Colored Vinyl] (Maro) - Slint (Vinyl)

Despite Steve Albini relentlessly advocating for Touch and Go Records to release Tweez in 1989, we declined. A few weeks later, Steve invited Slint to an impromptu recording session to make use of some studio time booked by another band who did not show up. At the end of the session, Steve did a quick mix for the band to take home. The next day, Steve dropped off a tape of those mixes to me at the Touch and Go office. These new Slint recordings blew my mind and I could not stop listening to them. Shortly thereafter, we agreed to release Slint's next album on Touch and Go - the soon to be recorded Spiderland. - Corey Rusk, Touch and Go Records
